I wonder if my father-in-law has a house anymore? We won't know for a long time, but I have this inkling that he'll end up staying with us for a while. No, I take that back. I have an inkling that he will be stubborn and try to clean up his totally flooded house and try to live there for a while with mold and rotting stuff until we come drag him to Dallas.

I haven't heard much from Slidell itself, which got the dead-on hit. I see stuff from New Orleans, Gulfpot, Biloxi, Mobile. Nothing really from Slidell.
