The pool is now OPEN

The pool was finally clean enough and stable enough to start swimming in again, so the boys and I headed out for a couple of hours. I finally talked Matthew out of his floaties today and he immediately started swimming underwater. He's been trying to for a while, but his floaties kept him up. Michael is still insisting on floaties and his ring. Anyway...

Did anyone order a fish? Seriously.

Within no time he started going up on the steps and then FLIPPING off! I can't believe he's doing this and that he figured it out all on his own. So, to share with everyone, here is the video of one of his flips. I have two formats - one for those with less than stellar net connections (780K) and one for those of you with more serious connections (2MB).

Lower quality, smaller file, of Matthew flipping in the pool

Higher quality, larger file, of Matthew flipping in the pool

what I found so amazing was that he can bark like a dog while underwater! truly amazing!

you should have him on The Tonight Show, or Late Night (they have a pool .. for the oh-so-tired [Will It Float?] segment).

Yeah, well, what about Michael flipping the chlorine floater over and over (you can see him at the very end of the video doing this)? He's off camera, so all you hear is this sound that is remarkably like a large belch - a couple of times, actually. :)

treasure these moments while you can, Trish. it won't be long before they're juvenile delinquents, just like their parents! =8-O

so, how nice are the lockup facilities in the Collin County Jail? <smirk>

I wouldn't know! We aren't delinquents *anymore*. :)

It's too bad, though. Those were fun times.

WOW! IO showed it to Craig and said, "Well, there should be an event for men's synchronised swimming!"
