When I got home, I made a desert for the kids that I saw in a magazine. I wish I could remember the magazine to credit them, but here is it in a nutshell. VERY easy and not so bad for them.
Get the following:
- Reduced fat Nilla Wafers
- Lite Yogurt (whatever flavor you want. I used strawberry for half and banana/mango for the other half)
- Cool Whip Free
- Cupcake papers/foils
In the bottom of the paper/foil, put a Nilla wafer flat. In a bowl, mix together equal parts yogurt and cool whip. Spoon the mixture into the paper/foil. Insert a Nilla wafer into the top, sticking up on its side. Put them in the freezer until they are hard. They are like 50 calories each and VERY yummy. It's like an ice cream treat.
YUMMY!!!!!!!
So, I got the house clean, dishes done, laundry done for the kids, lunches for tomorrow made, school clothes laid out and Scott is now bathing the kids (still can't lean over the tub). I'm ready to get the other side of my back done tomorrow morning!
