Birthday party goodness

Ok, lots of pictures, so things are behind the cut.

Yesterday was Michael and Matthew's birthday party. Six other kids came over and wrecked our house played with the boys. The day consisted of playing inside, cake, playing outside, presents, and more play. There were actually more adults around than kids, which kept us sane. Erika (their old nanny) even brought her mother-in-law, Carmen, who is visiting from Mexico. My friend Mike and his wife even came by, with their new puppy, which I unfortunately forgot to take pictures of!!! Anyway, the day was great, and the kids were exhausted.

They got:

From mom and dad: Rescue Heroes aircraft carrier, two trucks, a matchbox car track, big Buzz Lightyear, clothes

From Gamma: Fisher Price Skates, elbow and knee pads, skating gloves, a truck

From Erick and Brian: Transformer Lego set and Star Wars racer

From Trini and Kayln: Paddleballs, Water pistols, Green Power Ranger on motorcycle

From Brendan and Riley: Big Reptile play kit and Mr. Mouth game

From Mike and Melissa: Gift card from Barnes and Noble to buy books

On to the photos!!!

Stuff from mom and dad on their actual birthday, the 13th.

He was a skater boi...

I wish I had thought of that!!!! No, since I had the cake split in two for them, I had four candles on each side so they could blow them out.

They LOVED all of the dinosaurs. It was really the best choice for a theme. The best part I didn't even take a picture of. The party store had as part of that theme a 5 foot by 3 foot plastic mural you could put on the wall. I actually hung it in their room and it looks GREAT! They already have dinosaur curtains, pictures and sheets on Matthew's bed (Michael's bed has race cars). It completed the look.
