Does Krispy Kreme pipe out their doughnut smell to the outside so you can't pass by without buying them? Why do they indoctrinate us so young to the Krispy Kreme way?

I can remember as a grade schooler in Huntsville, AL being taken on class field trips to Krispy Kreme. It was a learning experience for us. We got nice paper hats, got to see how the doughnuts were made, ate fresh and hot ones right from the line. I've hardly been able to resist them ever since. Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts melt in your mouth. You can hardly eat just one.

Tonight I was a couple of stores down from Krispy Kreme and the smell hit me like a brick wall. I ended up coming home with a dozen assorted. God help me.

I find it amusing, only because we did not know what KK was until about 2 years ago.. and then it became a tradition to take every new visitor in for the first one. LOL.. Now I get them unglazed because they are just simply too sweet with the frosting.
