If you are trying to figure out what to have for dinner, it is best not to do it while watching 'Super Size Me'.

Thankfully, when I asked Michael what he wanted for dinner he said he wanted to make his own pizza. I probably would have puked if he had said a Happy Meal.

*EDIT* Has anyone considered putting out an APB on a stuffed animal? I certainly have. Matthew got this stuffed puppy from the hospital during one of his visits. The volunteers brought it to him in his room and they've been inseperable ever since. It was a short, round little brown and white puppy, very soft, and he named her 'Tall'. We don't know if it was meant to be a joke or not, but he has spent the past 4 or 5 months taking Tall everywhere with him. Tall sleeps with Matthew, Matthew sings songs to and about Tall, and he took her to school as his favorite toy for show and tell. Last night before bed, we started looking for Tall. Michael says she must be hiding. I couldn't find the dog ANYWHERE! I finally got Matthew to bed through distraction and have spent time all day today looking for her. I've looked in the car and torn the house apart. I'm trying not to mention her so he doesn't freak out tonight. How do you handle when a 'lovey' is gone and it's not something you can go out and buy a new one???? Thank goodness their birthday is in a few weeks, and that should distract. Maybe I'll get him a pound puppy or something like that as a replacement, but it just won't have the sentimental value of something that kept him secure while he was in the hospital. *sigh*

I am really lucky. I have had the same tiger for... well, since I was 4 days old. It got new skin a couple of times, or new stuffing, so there really is nothing of the original toy, but it is still the same. When I was 5 I thought I had lost him, though, and that was when I got my first kitten. Caring for a live, purring kitten made up for the loss. Too bad docs made the kitten move a few weeks later! And then we found my tiger behind the dryer.
