Need LESS sleep

Yes, you read that right! The fatigue has been unnaturally bad today. I went to sleep last night around midnight - not that bad for a Friday night. The kids woke me up today at around 10 for some reason I can't recall. They woke me back up at 11:45 because there was a "PARADE! MOM, THERE IS A PARADE OUTSIDE!!!!". Threw on a robe and sure enough, there was a high school band right across the street from us that stopped to play a few songs facing our house. It was one of many stops, I'm sure, as they walked along our neighborhood for homecoming weekend.

I made lunch for the boys, and within the next hour or two had fallen back to sleep. I didn't wake up until around 2:30 or 3 pm. Scott came home at 5 pm, we ate dinner at 6:30 and here it is 11 pm and I'm heading off to bed.

Let's see, that means I only had maybe 10 hours of AWAKE time in the last 24 hours and I'm heading to bed again. If I sleep to my usual 9 or so for a weekend, that will mean 10 hours of awake time over a 36 hour period. 26 hours asleep.

That is SOOOOOOOO not right.

(BTW - I LOVE the new LJ release that puts the list of tags right there in every post. Makes it so much easier to remember to tag posts, which I haven't done in a year or so)
