Eeek.

With no planning, and no knowledge how, I just cut my own hair. Yikes.

Got a good inch or so off of it. It doesn't look terrible. Not really good, but not really bad.

Ask and ye shall receive. Decide for yourself whether I need to be committed or not. I don't know how this 'alone in the house with two kids and no job' thing is going to work this week while Scott is in Chicago. :) Today we at least did a movie and swimming for an hour to keep sanity.

So where are the pictures???

The only times I've 'cut' my own hair are when the burning poi does it for me, so the fact that you're using scissors (stationary or otherwise) is one up on me.

Oh!!! Burning poi!!!!

You were the talk of the table at our Luau. There was all sorts of fire spinning going on. Absolutely amazing!!!!!! You belong in Hawaii.

Wow, you saw fire-spinning in Hawaii?! How cool!! Did you take pics? I especially love spinning on the beach. The confluence of all the elements is amazing. And I bet they were really good. Mine doesn't look like that. (I must start practicing more, because they have started including a fire dancing teaser in the announcement for the weekly post-tenner bonfires.)

How did you get spared from me burning down your backyard??

if nothing got superglued to anything else, it was a success!!!

No superglue involved, and I wasn't RUNNING with the scissors, so I think we're ok. :)

Yeah, but were you walking a dog with the scissors?

I think you have Trish and me confused. I know we look like sisters, but I don't recall her ever supergluing things to her hair . . . or her tongue . . . or to those "special" places. Not that she hasn't done it. I just don't remember her posting about it.

I've been known to get into a tizzy every couple of years and take the scissors to my ponytail. just cut the whole thing off. After a couple times, I've gotten pretty good at it. :) You just need practice. ;)

It would be nice if I could get good at doing my own hair. I color my own hair. I cut both of my boys hair every time, and even cut and colored GS' hair one time (forgot to this last time). It would save me money if I could get a cut I could do myself without any problems.

Hey, you cut my hair and it turned out exactly as I wanted. No surprise that you did well on your own.

But as Ally said, it's just not the same without superglue!!

Here's a message from the LG, who is standing here begging to "talk" to you:

hhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaastiiiiinnnn.

Translation??? :)

Give my LG lots of hugs and kisses and tickles.

So when do you guys get to come visit us? *laugh*

I have no idea what it means. Oh, and remind me to ask you some questions about the movie Shark Tales; he's picked up quite a few things that he blames on that movie, including the phrase "I have no idea."

As for coming to visit you, I have no idea. lol. He's already missed the first two days of preschool and we probably won't even try to get him there until next week. The jet lag is killing us - or at least me!
