Bring me back my mind!

Ok, whoever took off with my usual mind and replaced it with a somewhat more modern-day version of Betty Crocker needs to switch it back.

Well - I guess this is a pretty yummy place to be, so I'll accept it for ONE NIGHT.

I made wonton soup for the boys, with some rice noodles on the side. I then made a BIG cuppa hazelnut mocha cappachino - nice and frothy! I've been drinking that while making two batches of muffins. One is blueberry, the other chocolate chip (we have plenty left over from when I made homemade granola bars with the boys last time Betty Crocker took over my body). I haven't had my dinner yet. I'll probably wait until the boys go to bed and see what I'm up for.

Hmmm. The last time I baked (the granola bars) was also when Scott was out of town. What is it about being alone in the house that makes you want to clean, bake, do activities, sort socks or anything to occupy your mind and hands?

The boys are behaving very well, and as a special treat we moved their twin beds together so they can sleep together tonight in one big bed. We'll have to see how that works tonight whether they can keep it that way for a while.

I received TWO FedEx deliveries today. One made my day, the other made me blind. The first was about 10 this morning and it was my new Nokia 3200. I made a really nifty cover for it with some wood grain paper I had from my scrapbooking days and on the back I put a picture of the boys dressed as cowboys which was in sepia. Looks cool. I played with the radio on the phone, and it ROCKS. The camera is actually better than in my $250 Samsung phone.

Anyone want a Samsung V206 REALLY cheap? I've had it less than a year!

The second delivery was a large box, containing printouts of all of the pages from the external web site that I had to review for what needs to go, what needs to stay and what needs to be updated. Ummm....the pile of paper is A FOOT HIGH!!!! And they want me to finish by Monday and send it back FedEx by Tuesday morning?

Can I have some of what they are smoking?

GAR! Another bad thing - they are talking about my beloved Bextra being just as bad for you as Vioxx, which was just yanked off the market. What in the hell will I do if they yank Bextra as well?

Wow. I usually drink caffiene-free Diet Dr. Pepper. I'm now on my second fully-loaded cappachino.

CAN YOU TELL AT ALL BY THIS POST?????????

It's crazy. At least I have the kids to talk to and play with for the next 15 minutes. Who knows what will happen after that when they are in bed. Maybe I'll put on some music and dance. I'll get a workout and burn off some energy at the same time. :)

What was your interview today? New job?

Good luck on that! Hopefully a new job will have just as interesting people, only less annoying :)
