Erika came by (the boys ex-nanny) and took the kids out for lunch and a movie with her two boys while Scott came to get me from the hospital.
I also got the most beautiful present from my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and neice - an old-style glass writing set. The hand styled glass has rose coloring through out and a styled glass tip. There is also a glass stand to hold up the stylus when you aren't usign it. It contains a hand-blown glass jar with bordeaux ink. I think I'll have to write their thank you note with the set. I can't wait to use it!
The 'easter bunny' brought me a gift card from Bath and Body Works and an Easter Lily. Wonderful.
I put 'easter bunny' in quotes because the kids at school have started already with telling everyone that Santa and the Easter Bunny don't really exist. The boys were very concerned over the last couple of days. This morning, when they got up and saw the baskets, and 'bunny droppings' (small chocolate eggs) Scott had put out, Matthew ran up and said 'He came! The Easter Bunny IS real!'
I hate that I missed it, but now I get to see them hiding easter eggs around the house.
