Michael came up to me this morning like this:
What can you say? He's my boy, and I love him *laugh*
He found those heels because Saturday night, Angela, Kim and I went out for a girls night on the town. I think we made it four hours :) We got a late start, so we ate dinner around 8:45, then went out to a bar until 1. We took a cab over to the hotel we had booked, which was a NIGHTMARE. We stayed in it about four years ago when a group of us went out. I've actually stayed in that same ROOM three times now. I don't know what happened to them, but the place was so pathetic I'm putting in a formal complaint with the booking agent and the chain itself. Mold in the shower, busted up box springs, bugs, no way to get into the closet, scum all around the hot tub, REALLY loud A/C... but it had benefits that could be added up in two words: No. Kids.

We had to go the next morning to a party for Colleen's son that turned 8. It was good to let the kids RUN themselves ragged at a gym while we just sat there.
Here is Brendan opening his gifts and Angela's, Colleen's, Kim's and my kids. Look how RED my boys are in the face from playing!
Oh! On Saturday, as I wrapped up our garage sale, our new family member came to stay with us. Nugget is a rat owned by
He's such a sweet old boy! He's in a cage by himself right now in another room, for quarantine, but he sits with me in the evenings and is just a little snuggle bug. He'll brux (grind his teeth together) and boggle (hard to explain - bugging his eyes out repeatedly? Google 'rat boggling') - both of which are signs of a very happy rat. Methinks he comes to me spoiled ;) I can't wait to have him join the rest of my boys in a few weeks.

Don't you wish you were that flexible?????
My pictures hardly do him justice, so here is one from
