After three months of no activity, two days of TKD in one week has me barely able to move today. But it's a GOOD pain *laugh* I had to tap Scott to get the boys ready and take them to school while I took some medicine and laid in bed a while longer. Mostly, this is just exercise soreness, which I don't mind. I did, however, pull a muscle in my back, under the left shoulderblade. The strange thing is that TKD isn't really to blame on this. Somehow, I pulled this SAME muscle twice in the past three months, by doing nothing. Sleeping wrong? Who knows!
Anyway...I made my second purple stripe last night. I felt good enough to have tested for purple belt, but we'll stay in the first level classes for a while longer. The boys both got a third purple stripe, which really doesn't exist, but they do it for the younger kids so they feel they are making progress, but aren't thrown into the intermediate class before they are ready.
I've missed Tae Kwon Do so much. Now I just have to get back my flexibility *laugh*
