Nurse? Anyone?

Being home isn't quite as HANDY as being at the hospital. I went to the restroom and had a small leaking issue from a drain. I got myself cleaned up, then realized all of my bags were still out in Scott's car. I also saw there was no toilet paper in this bathroom. I had to go into our room, past the snoring sleeping beast, grab some TP, get myself the rest of the way cleaned up, get gauze ready to be packed around the drains....then realized that I didn't have any fresh underwear or lounge pants out here. They were all in our dark bedroom. I felt around for a few pair and hoped one would at least be large and soft. I stumbled on one pair of pants.

I'm back on the couch, but all I can do is read or use Scott's computer.

Tomorrow, when everyone is more awake, I have GOT to get this place a bit better set up for self-maintenance in the evenings so I don't have to wake the house.

I do miss that nurse call button, or the ability to just turn on all of the lights and go digging around for things. Of course, the hospital didn't have my two sweet puppies sleeping soundly next to me. :)

Yay, I'm glad you got home! You have constantly been in my prayers since you went in for surgery; even if I never commented on anything.

Many *gentle* hugs and prayers for a very blessed and merry Christmas and happy new year (because I know I won't have time to post much in the next week).

ps: got your Christmas card a while back, thanks!
