Mom's surgery

Mom's surgery today went fine, and we are back home. They took a good chunk out of the top of her nose, but this time they got clear margins on it. She gets the drain out on Monday, and then sees the doc again on Thursday. Hopefully, all will be well.

She had some bleeding because she stupidly bent down to put something away. She's laying on the couch now tripping on her Darvocet *laugh*

The boys are playing upstairs quietly (their sleepover last night wore them out, I guess) and Scott is upstairs 'supervising' (playing WoW).

Having spent about 5 hours at the hospital today, I might just lay down on the couch and nap myself. I'm tired.

Oh - I CAN KNIT NOW!!!! It finally clicked, and I've whipped out a sampler of five different 'styles' and I just need to bind it off to finish. I really think that doing some loom knitting helped me understand the concept behind the stitches and what they should look like. *beam* I've been trying to do this for so long! A whole world of patterns just opened up to me.

Peace. Out.
