A man only a blonde could love

Picture post number 1!!!!

My husband is a man that deserves a blonde wife. I UNDERSTAND!!!!

The last week or so, this big, brunette hunk of Cajun I married has been just as ditzy as I am. That's probably why I love him so much :)

Blonde act #1:

Our kitchen sink was stopped up. He went and got Liquid Drano, poured a couple of bottles in, and waited. When it was still stopped up a few hours later, he poured in another two bottles and left it overnight. The next morning - you guessed it - still full of water in both sinks. This meant he had to use a snake, and possibly pull out the pipes under the sink to get to the trap. BUT WAIT!!! The sink is full of water and FOUR BOTTLES of liquid drain opener. Here is the result of my 'safety sure' husband:

Blonde act #2:

Yesterday morning, like EVERY morning, Scott got up needing his coffee to function. Now, he's from New Orleans. He doesn't just drink coffee. He drinks some sort of espresso and chicory concoction he made up, and actually fixes it like a couple of shots of espresso. You'll notice his sweet setup - an industrial coffee bean grinder, next to his espresso machine. You'll also notice that the carafe for the coffee is sitting NEXT TO the espresso machine! I was laughing so hard, this is the only halfway decent picture I got. The ones that were closer, and the ones that also showed the floor were way too blurry. :) (Our kitchen usually doesn't have dishes stacked to the ceiling, but we couldn't use our dishwasher or sink for several days thanks to this escapade) ((Are you believing that excuse? Don't you know me any better??))

Blonde act #3:

This morning, Scott had to leave for about two weeks. He'll only be home for two days during the next two weeks. He got up, showered, finished packing, and set out early because he had a flight at 11:25 am. He just called a few minutes ago to let me know that the flight NUMBER was 1125 - not the time. His plane doesn't leave until almost 3 pm. *laugh* I think he's going to leave the airport and go to Grapevine Mills mall for lunch and shopping.

*snicker* I LOVE YOU, HON!!!

I just had to double check our flight time--alas, it still leaves at 7:10 a.m. so I do HAVE to get up at 3:30 a.m. to catch it.

don't forget to wear your underwires, platform shoes with hollowed-out centers, and carry your entire bathroom set of shampoo, conditioner, contact solution {this is especially good if you wear glasses}, gels and styling products, toothpaste, etc. and carry them all in your purse, don't even bother with a carry-on bag!

good luck!

The coffee grinder looks awesome. What kind is it?

NM. I think I found it. Is it the super-fancy Kitchenaid one?

I want...

Yes, it's from the 'I can't believe you spent that much fucking money on a coffee grinder' line. :)

This is more about it

$200 seems to be the magic number for me. Everything I want seems to be $200.
