*sigh* My mind just won't shut off tonight. I'm tired, and my eyes keep drooping, but I can't sleep. I'm going to play a little bit of solitaire until I feel ready to go to sleep. Please work! I've got too much to do in the next two days!
I hear ya. I went to bed around 3:30 and still needed to take sleeping pills. Big surprise I didn't make it to my 7:30 meeting...... It seems that people develop insomnia as they get older. What is up with that?! Right when we have responsibilities and things to do and places to be..... Sometimes you just get used to it. One of my bosses said he got 4 hrs sleep each night and learned to use the rest of the time productively. All I could do was stare, not sure if I was impressed or he's a freak.
Sometimes I just wish it would last all night, rather than finally giving in and going to sleep about 3 or 4. Then, you only have a couple of hours and feel crappy the next day. Thankfully, I had an hour break between calls today, so instead of a lunch break, I took a nap in my chair. YAY.
Must admit, I considered staying up all night, but I wasn't sure when I'd crash. Plus, I was bored. I've never gotten the hang of doing productive things in the middle of the night. Like I'm going to suddenly start vacuuming or organizing the clutter at 2 a.m.? Yeah, right....
Glad you got some rest, regardless of when it was. My mom says that all the real geniuses survive on catnaps. Maybe you're about to invent something really cool..... Or maybe you're just psycho...have you seen The Machinist?

I can't do anything noisy during the night, because my husband and kids are sleeping, so I either read, work puzzles or work on the computer.
Hope you both have a great time!
