Yay for travel

The tickets are booked, and on Wednesday I travel for four wonderful days with georgiaskydiver

I'm so psyched! I need to pack and pay bills first. I have to pack. Tomorrow I have to give my vacation notice to my boss and the guest dog goes home. Tuesday night, Tae Kwon Do with the kids and get Scott ready to take the boys for Meet the Teacher night on Friday. All of this and I'll be back in time for their first day of school on Monday!

From the time I get there until I leave - no clue. Just no I'm there from Wednesday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.

Are you near?

I'm trying to come up with someting fun for us to do on the way back from the airport. Since we live so far out in the boonies, anything we want to do in the city we should probably do that day. Got any preferences? Any requests?

I'm going to call Reynolds Plantation (Ritz Carlton) tomorrow to see just how many bazillion dollars it will cost us to have a spa day and stay there Friday night.

P.S. If not Reynolds Plantation, then maybe the Barnsley Inn in Adairsville? It's small and very expensive, but OH! Do those folks know how to pamper!!

We also live very close to Chateau Elan. They have a very nice spa, and we won't have to spend a fortune to stay overnight if we don't want to. However, since it's also a winery, we might want to stay overnight . . .

California - near Disneyland.

I was just kinda hoping you know like the plane might have to divert 50,000 miles out of the way and I'd get a chance to say hi! (I'm also very near John Wayne Int'l Airport - in case you have any input with the pilot). :-) Have FUN!!!!

I can't believe it's actually going to happen!!!

I'm so excited, I feel like a kid before Christmas day. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to sleep tonight.

Are you sure you want to come into this chaos for four full days? You heard a small sampling of what it's like over the phone tonight.

It's still not too late to back out, you know. Just know that if you do, I'm going to come stalk you.

I won't back out! I'm so excited I have already started packing!!!!

Anything in particular I should bring?

I am looking forward to the chaos, and can't wait to see LG again and meet BG. I don't care if we sit around in our pajamas on the back deck for 4 days. It will be worth the trip.

Comfy. Comfy. Comfy. Especially taking into account the miserable heat & humidity. Pack that new bathing suit. And some good walking shoes. And of course, spa wear. . .

No need to bring anything fancy or sexy. After all, we do live way way way out in the boonies. There is NOTHING here to dress up for. "Going out" means we're going to Domino's to pick up our own pizza. You think I'm kidding?

The idea of sitting around on the back deck and at the pool for four days isn't so far-fetched.

This is a completely random comment, unrelated to your post entirely.
