Liberal or Conservative?

According to this test, it depends. It finds me 100% fiscally conservative and 100% ethically liberal. The rest was about a wash.

Your Political Profile:
Overall: 55% Conservative, 45% Liberal
Social Issues: 50% Conservative, 50% Liberal
Personal Responsibility: 50% Conservative, 50% Liberal
Fiscal Issues: 100% Conservative, 0% Liberal
Ethics: 0% Conservative, 100% Liberal
Defense and Crime: 75% Conservative, 25% Liberal

I'd be curious which questions they used to give credit to the various categories. I also hated that it was a black or white quiz. For several of the questions the answer I would have given wasn't an option.

Me too. For example, I do think businesses have a social responsibility to protect the environment, but not 'at any cost to the business'. Just being responsible corporate citizens wasn't really an option. There are also ways to improve the school system OTHER than revoking NCLB or starting a voucher system. I don't really think either of those are the answer. I'm also pretty sure you saw the flaw in placing the errors in the judicial system either solely with plea bargains or with prisoner's rights and rehab. Where would the glut of frivolous law suits fit in there?

Yes, the test was very flawed, but still interesting to take.
