Dreams do come true

It's pretty sad that my 'dream' was the perfect coffee table, but it was. I've spent the last couple of years dreaming about a specific coffee table and I've not been able to find it. I want a nice solid table, that has a BIG surface that we could play board games on. It needs to have drawers to get all of these little things like remotes, nail clippers, lotion, small toys, etc. out of the way. I've been looking off an on for years and haven't found the perfect table. Jill-Bob even offered to build me one at one point.

I'm really sad because my friend and next-door neighbor is moving about 30-45 minutes away. However, she owns an almost perfect coffee table. They were selling pretty much ALL of their furniture so they can get new stuff for the new house. I asked about the table, since it wasn't on their sell list, and she said that if they sold the living room furniture (couch and love seat that WAS on the list), then they would sell the table to me.

It didn't sell. I was sad, but decided it wasn't meant to be.

She wrote today and said she would sell it to me! Cheap! Scott and her husband are going to haul it over tomorrow from next door (it is really big and heavy).

If I wasn't flat on my back in pain I would be bouncing. I'm bouncing inside. Take my word for it. I can't wait to get rid of this small chest we're using as a coffee table right now. My laptop takes up half the surface of it. Ick.
