Yay!

GS and LG are here next week!

YAY! Yay!

Oh, and did I say YAY???

We spent this weekend 'decking the yard', and we only have a few more items to put outside. The house was already done. We're not going all out for the yard this year, and won't be lining the sidewalk with rope lights or putting any lights on the house. Just the bushes and yard decorations.

I went a little overboard inside though. Someone needs to take the Christmas lights and garland away from me. :)

We wrapped our 'mini-Christmas' presents last night for LG (and GS, but mostly LG) and put them under the tree and in their stockings. The boys are too excited for words and ask every day how many more days until LG gets here.

We're the same way here. I can't stop bouncing off the walls.

Oh, and do the boys have scooters yet? Would you kill me if I bought them a set?

No, they don't have scooters. They had the little pre-school ones when they were little, but don't have any now. I'm sure the little skater boys would love them :)

Done! I already had presents for them, but seeing how much the neighbor kids love their scooters, I woke up in the middle of the night last night (2:11 a.m. to be precise) with the brilliant idea of getting them for the boys. Then I spent the rest of the night worrying that you'd kill me if I did it.

And I know I've already asked, but who is it with the space fascination?

Michael is space, BOOKS (thank GOD!), and skate punk.

Matthew is dinosaurs, transformers and puzzles.

We tried to get LG things that wouldn't be a pain in the ass to take home. I think he'll be pleased ;)

lol. A few months ago I bought some really cool puzzles for them. One is a space theme and the other is hot air balloons. I just wanted to be sure I put the right name on the right one.

What school is BG attending?

BTW - Hot air balloons is a solid choice for someone that lives in Plano. The hot air balloon festival here every year in September is a big deal. :)

UGA. Go Bulldogs!!!

I saw your team got a good bowl bid. We should have timed it so you'd be here for the game!

Oh, and does hubby smoke cigars? Is that cool with you? Again, I'm asking permission 'cause I don't want Miss Trish to spank me when I get there.

Regarding the Hot Air Balloon Festival:
Do you think I could convince one of them to let me jump out of their balloon?

Re: Regarding the Hot Air Balloon Festival:
TOO windy right now for them to go up, but it WOULD be gorgeous right now. It's so great outside. We'll have to spend some time out in the backyard letting the kids play all over the swingset

Re: Regarding the Hot Air Balloon Festival:
That would rock the LG's socks - as you would put it - !!! He is all about climbing and running and "swinging higher."

He's such a boy.

Just to make sure also, LG doesn't have any of the Drop Zone Extreme characters, does he?

AWESOME! You will love them as much as he does!

This is how I found out about them

You mean to tell me that I found SKYDIVING toys for LG that you have never seen???? No. Way.

BTW - I was only able to find two of them to buy: Freefall Fiona and Sky Eye Skylar (a girl diver and a guy with a helmet cam), so the boys each got one for him. Scott and I got him just a normal airborne ranger with a tangle-free parachute :)

I just told allykatt that I'll bring the potty seat in case we end up tossing more wine all over the floor of a nice restaurant.

I think that will be Thursday late afternoon / early evening next week. Sometime after my boys get out of school at 3. Maybe like 5 pm for an 'early dinner' there?

WOOT!

Will there be more spillage of wine afterwards? And this time Ms. AllyKatt can drink! (unless she's knocked up again. *ducks & runs for cover*)

I'll bring the potty seat just in case - so we can take pictures for divamanda23.

I think I'm going to go ahead and ship the presents out there. We didn't do much, but I don't want to have to haul around the LG, a car seat, the cameras and a whole bunch of bags.

The scooters are being delivered directly and should be wrapped so it should be okay to open the shipping boxes.
