Sleep, please

I've been getting tired and going to bed pretty early the last week or so. That is why I was so confused for a while when I couldn't get to sleep tonight.

Then I remembered...been fighting a headache off and on for the past three days. I finally gave in this afternoon and took a pain pill. Umm. Pain pills give me insomnia. It's why I try not to take them that often. By the time I realized this a few minutes ago, it was too late to take an Ambien. I have to get up at 6:30 in the morning to get the kids ready for school. I'll catch up on sleep next week when I'm in the hospital *laugh*

In brighter news, next weekend we have one, maybe two, new additions coming into the house as rescues. Unfortunately, someone that lives near us is having to part with their rattie-boys because of allergies. We are going to meet their boys this weekend, and at least one will be coming to live with us. They will have their own cage during quarantine, but then will be moving in with my four boys. I can't wait to meet their group and see which boy(s) fit best with our group. Ok, be serious - which boys out of their group steal my little heart away :)

I'm completely ready for the garage sale now. Signs are made and everything is sorted and priced. Mom is going to have a few things out there, but she hasn't gone through her stuff much yet. I've had to push her to throw a lot away. I also had to ride her that going through her stuff does NOT mean taking out each item one at a time and telling me its history. About the 20th time she came up showing me a cancelled check from my freshman year in college on some such, I knew that we weren't going to get much of her stuff done for the sale. *laugh* She might just surprise me and have some things to go in the sale when I pick her up Wednesday evening.

I can't believe that in just 9 days I will have TWO breasts. Hot damn! Anyone want a $275 prosthetic breast on the cheap? *laugh*

Your mom and I would get along great! Never get anything done, but, hey, we don't want to get rid of the plastic toy from the gumball machine at our first concert anyway..... (Boring paperwork is different, though - the checks, parking tickets, receipts, etc. should go - you can tell her a person who completely sympathizes with her says it's ok to let go.) That goes for prosthetic breasts, too - I agree with the Halloween idea, and you never know when you might need that.

How can pain pills give you insomnia?!?! The gods are so messing with you - that is so unfair!! What's the sense of being in dulled pain and wide awake?!? With freaky little animals staring at you? Scary.

Glad you're in good spirits over it all. :)
