Since when????

Ok, Spanish I can understand teaching in schools in Texas. We have a HUGE Hispanic population.

Just WHEN did they start teaching Japanese though?

Michael just walked by the rat cage to say goodnight to his rat, Angel, and I had to have him repeat what he said:

"Konnyeje wa, Angel"

I'm floored. My kindergartener just spoke Japanese to his rat, and I didn't even know he knew any.

I'm beginning to learn Kanji and Japanese. I think if the business future is to be prosperous that we'll all have to learn a little Japanese.

I think Japanese teaching/learning entered public schools everywhere with Pokémon. My kids pick up Japanese from animé maniac older kids at the school, and Craig plans to learn it in high school.
