Power to the PowerPuff Girls!

Ok, I don't know why my sons like the PowerPuff Girls so much, but they do and I'm learning to live with it. They still make me want to vomit, though.

Speaking of sons, there are pictures behind the cut of Matthew when he was at the hospital a couple of weeks ago. There will be more after his sinus surgery on Tuesday, I'm sure. You just want to hug them and make everything better, but it doesn't work that way. So you just try to make things seem like a game and always keep a smile.

Also behind the cut is a pic from the Hawaii-themed birthday party for a couple of friends (I'm not in it) BEFORE we started playing drinking games and a picture of Michael...JUST BECAUSE.

And finally, the things we do for beauty boggle the mind. I went to an all-natural, aromatherapy spa party with Ang a few days back. I ordered this thermal enzymatic mask that is supposed to be an all natural version of a chemical burn peel. The directions say there will be some 'redness and tingling' from the mask. Uhhh, OUCH! IT BURNS! And my face was beet red for about an hour afterwards. This is a pic that was taken shortly after.

But my face feels SMOOOOOOOOOOTH!!!! :)

Anyway, Scott left this morning for a week away for work. Feels really good to be able to say that - not only that he is working again after 10 months, but that it isn't ME travelling for work. I was out of town 3 out of the last 5 weeks for work and I'm glad to be home with the kids and able to relax. Opened a bottle of Riesling and fed the kids and they'll be in bed in a few hours and I'll play City of Heroes for a while. AHHH!

Too bad I have to be up super early the next two days. I have to have Matthew at the office of the doctor doing his surgery by 8:30 tomorrow morning. Then we have to be at the hospital for the surgery at 7 freaking 30 in the morning. That means being ready and OUT of the house by 6:45.

BLECH!

Look - GB, JB - I'm stuck home ALL week because Matthew has to stay here, but they are in bed around 7:30. PLEASE COME KEEP ME COMPANY SOME NIGHT. Otherwise I will begin to speak in words like 'Boo-Boo', 'poop' and randomly screaming 'NO!' loudly.

Your babies are soo cute!

Willem loves the Powder Puff Girls too, I don't know what it is? Maybe they will grow up to like strong willed, indepenedent, super herp-like women like their Mom's.

Oh Yeah - the Power Puff girls rock! However - my favorite girl "super-hero" spy chick is Kim Possible. My nephew Benjamin, who will be three this month, loves to watch her with me. Ronstoppable is her sidekick and they have a naked mole rat as a mascot. Too freakin' funny. And yes, I own the straight to DVD movie.
