Is it just the wind?

Ok, REALLY big gusts, a neighbor's roof was partially torn up, tree limbs and garbage bins all over the place, and our power went out for almost 4 hours.

SUCKED!!!! But was fun in a way. :) I got to use all of my candles.

We haven't lost power at all, but we heard gusts earlier that really sounded like they were doing damage to the house/roof (on superficial inspection I didn't see anything wrong, though).

no power loss here, some wind but nothing to write home about. i keep forgetting that you're nearer to Oklahoma than Dallas ...

Ha Ha.

So that's why we never see each other. :)

Hope all has been well with you. Haven't talked to you in a little while. On Monday we find out whether mom's surgery is postponed. If not, she has it on Wednesday, so I'll be at Centennial all day.

For a few Pintoseconds (remember Frank?) I thought about moseying up to your digs at .. oh, 7am and banging LOUDLY at the door, singing HAPPY BIRFDAY TO YEW in a quasi-drunken stupor.

Then I thought:
0- I'll be arrested, after one of your erudite neighbors calls the PPD;
1- By 7am you'll have already been up 2 hours, getting Da Boyz ready for whatever Saturday event is in store.

Happy B-Day! You're what - 26 this year? :)

Yep, coming up fast on your 38.

We were, of course, up at 7, but you think you caught me off guard last year? At least I was dressed. I'm in jammies right now. Here soon, we've got to shower, go get birthday cakes for the boys, and get ready for their party.

Oh yeah, this time last year you caught me with no makeup on. :)

BTW - I actually use that pillbox for my morning meds. Your gift makes me sane. Zoloft and Klonopin. Don't you feel special?

Ok, sleep now. Michael and Matthew are having their birthday party tomorrow at 3 at Peter Piper Pizza in Plano. Wheee. Can you believe they will be FIVE next week?

"Your gift makes me sane" .. at first glance, I assumed you meant the Bat Mitzvah card.

Then I remembered how well you liked the Green Bean Bread (from May Hua supoermarket).

We had a power fluctuation that required us to reset the cable modem and affected the power supply on Vogon's older computer. We must have been spared the worst of the wind since none of the plants on the patio tipped over and a good gust usually tips the older tangerine.

I should encourage Vogon to go to Fry's on a whim more often -- he came home with the power supply he went out for, a 20" LCD monitor (once I figure out how to lift his old 19" CRT monitor safely, it's mine) and a bunch of breakfast tacos from Taco Cabana.'

Happy birthday!

Thanks.

Our power supply FAILED! This is the first time it has been tested for more than a minute. Didn't do well.
