Meet my new husband

This is important enough for NO CUTS! :)

This is what my husband looked like when we got up this morning:

Yes, that WAS my husband :) He had curly hair down to his ass and a
well-trimmed beard. He's been growing his hair for about nine years
now.

When I came downstairs this morning, this is what I saw:

Later this afternoon, he came home from some appointments, and THIS
is my new husband. How many people get a new husband after nine years,
but still get to stay married to their best friend????

It looks like the Locks of Love program has a new donation:

Re: RUN !!!
I think it is. Either that, or he might actually
get a job. It has to be an indicator for SOMETHING.

Why thank you. It's a change, but it's more
like what he looked like when we started dating.
Actually, a bit shorter!

Thanks. He came pretty close. You can see he
doesn't look real happy in the picture where he
had just shaved off his beard. He spent the morning
prior to his hair appointment kind of sulking. I
guess it's hard to let go of nine years.

I told him to think of the money he would save
in hair gel alone! :)

Wow! I know when Dave finally decided to cut his hair (after three years) it was a shocker! That must have blown your mind!

Did your kids recognize him?

BTW, looks great!

Matthew just looked at him and rubbed his face
going 'Oh!'. We asked Michael what happend to
Daddy's hair and he said 'It's in the kitchen'.
*laugh* They seemed to take it all in stride.
Had they been infants or much smaller toddlers,
I think it would have been more of an issue.

My Dad always had a mustache when I was a small child. At about 5 years he shaved it off, and my Mom said it freaked me out. The same year I saw a man with no shirt on with long hair, I asked my Mom why that woman wasn't wearing a shirt? Growing up on a military base, I thought mens hair just stopped growing at a certain length.

He looks great! I am crossing my fingers and toes.
