Damn! Why didn't I think of that? I just used duct tape.

Matthew isn't so much into it, although he's been playing in the last month or so. Michael, on the other hand, is obsessed with computers and video games. He started when he was 2 and now can figure out just about anything you hand him. It extends to most electronics. He actually knows more about the TIVO than I do :)

My mom usually comes and watches the kids, but as soon as they got home from school (pre-school) I let them play with their games today. They hadn't moved in a while, so I just sent her home. I can actually work or do whatever I need when they are doing that. I probably let them play way more than I should, but what the heck. If their dad can spend 5 hours straight playing World of Warcraft, why can't the kids spend an hour or two playing on their gameboy? :)

when I was growing up (in the late 1920's) my parents often handed me a large paper clip and told me to go play "Electric Current Man" with the nearby socket.

does that make me a Geek?

Man, you are so far ahead of me. When I need a break I set Laurel up with a DVD and put on my headphones.

There was a computer in Laurel's room that used to be the nerdsprout's, but it currently doesn't work because Laurel abused the power button (without actually using the computer) so it wouldn't boot at all until I replaced the BIOS battery. Now Windows displays something about a missing drivie and will only boot into Safe mode, so I decided to turn it over to Vogon.

I think I'll be putting this in my "parenting ideas" folder and in a couple of years I'll be pulling it out.
It used to be "Calgon, take me away" not it's "Gameboy, take them away"

that "not" is supposed to be a "now"
as in:
It used to be "Calgon, take me away" noW it's "Gameboy, take them away"

How I can do that when there are two keys between them is any bodies guess.
