Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble

I have one of those really nice Homedics foot spas, with bubbles, massage, attachments and heat maintenance. It won't HEAT water, but it is supposed to maintain the temperature. I haven't used it in a while, but I picked up some foot soak this week so I thought I would pull it out to destress from my WONDERFUL morning.

You know how usually, if you fill a tub with hot water, it loses heat pretty quickly? Well, we seem to be missing that law around here. I filled this tub with hot water about 15 minutes ago, figuring that I would let it cool off just a bit and then turn on the heat maintenance. I'm still waiting on it to cool to the point I can put my feet in. OUCH!!!!

Law and Order. Foot soak and scrub. Heat wrap on my neck and back.

MMMMMM. There was a time when Friday nights were drinking and dancing. I would actually prefer this any day. I'm such a spa slut.

Champagne tastes. Get me a spa day and a trip to Nordstroms and I could die happy. :)

One thing I like in this country is the insane number of hot springs, Turkish Baths and other baths. No, don't think San Francisco, but jus spas.

Now, why would a gay man telling me about a bathhouse bring to mind San Francisco? ;)

Nah, I knew exactly what you meant. I would LOVE to have something like that close by.

One of my fondest memories was going to Tabacon Springs in Costa Rica. There is a creek flowing down the mountainside, which is fairly hot! It's an above ground hot spring, with a volcano near it. It was incredible to go walk in the stream, stand under the waterfalls, and have what amounted to the world's largest hottub. They had some hot baths there as well.
